Card numbers are never stored
Cards go to your processor over an encrypted connection, and Ridley keeps only the last four digits. Ridley is built to PCI DSS v4.0.1 requirements and is preparing for formal validation.
3D Secure
Customers confirm payments with their bank where your processor supports it, which cuts fraud and chargebacks.
Encrypted processor details
Your processor credentials are encrypted and only used at the moment a payment is made.
Passkeys and two-step sign-in

Do I need a merchant account?
Yes, to take real payments. Ridley connects to your merchant account with PowerTranz, Fiserv or Dimepay, and your bank sets that up. You can sign up, set everything up and test with test keys while your account is being approved.
Does Ridley hold my money?
No. Payments settle from your processor straight into your bank account. Ridley never holds, moves or touches your funds.
Are there per-transaction fees from Ridley?
No. Ridley is a flat monthly plan. You still pay your processor’s usual rates, but Ridley adds nothing on top of each sale.
How long does setup take?
Creating your account, adding your website or app and entering your processor’s test details takes an afternoon. Going live depends on your processor approving your live account, which can take a few days.
How does the 14-day free trial work?
Choose a plan during setup and use everything for 14 days. Cancel any time before the trial ends and you won’t be charged.
Do my customers need an account?
No. They open your payment link or invoice, pay on your branded checkout page and get a receipt by email.
We build apps for clients. Can we use Ridley?
Yes. One Ridley account can power many websites and apps, each with its own keys, currency and branding. The API, webhooks, test keys and recurring billing are included from the Business plan, and Professional raises the API rate limit.
